(Enough with this third person shit!)
EARLY LIFE
I was born in Germany and immigrated to America as a young boy. My dad in the military tried to settle down in Oregon and instead would travel to Texas and Oklahoma. I learned to play the piano and would sing all the time. Which lead me to stage performances in schools till I was in College. When I was 11 my mother and father started to separate, the divorce wasn't finalized till I was 18.
EARLY CAREER
I was scouted for a Folk band called Yama. Lead by Producer Jay Noel whom found me in a production of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. We worked on one demo which consisted of me playing sequencers, synths, piano and slight vocal work. I was 12 years old at the time and due to my parents divorce I had to move to Oklahoma. I wanted to continue with creating music, but had to do it on my own the birth of an Electronic project was born.
UNDERGROUND
I began writing PostOmnis in 2000 and released my first album underground titled "Kama: Goddess of Love." It was a mix of ethnic, electronic, and folk music. With a relatively positive outcome I began writing my second opus "Butterfly" which saw a fusion of Industrial vocals being introduced into the music. The third and final demo was released in 2004 titled "Irehs." The album was again a fusion of Folk, Classical, Industrial and Electronic music.
INDEPENDENT
The first of many independent albums which released on the internet began with 2005's "Conscience." Again sticking with the same polished idea of Electronic music and Classical structure. PostOmnis saw three singles, "Devotional Circumstance," "Whoever," and "Naked." The album however saw sampling issues on two tracks which were never b-sided.
The sophomore album titled "Nos Mortuus" released the following year and saw again electronic vocals and chant like lyrics. The album was based on my own compositions for a video gamed titled "Silent Hill." Later at the end of the year the album was nominated and won "Best Dark Ambient Album" for the Underground/Independent artists in Oklahoma.
Two years would pass till the next PostOmnis album which brought back the Industrial cold steel sound of analog synths, hard bass drums and chill pads. The album "Insomniac People" was influenced with re-imagining classical songs into an electronic tapestry. The album singled twice with "Fade," and "Deja-Vu." The album would be released on iTunes giving PostOmnis it's first time to be seen in a public eye.
Following the release, a year later "Equilibrium" released on iTunes and featured for the first time in years the voice of my late father. I had found in a cardboard box a bunch of tapes. One of them said, "Cooking with Sean." I popped in the album and began to watch the video... Stopped about 30 seconds in and couldn't bring myself to watch these videos. The box sat next to the TV for the longest time and I felt like I was just avoiding the situation everyday. Next thing I know, I'm putting tapes into the VHS and recording from the TV my dad's voice into the computer. Years later I'm mixing the voice into my music and it felt like I was having a final conversation with my father and felt like I had closure from his suicide. The album singled four times. "Vanity" which became the projects first music video. "Night of Silence," co-written by Matthew Meow Meow Mattocks and Matthew Fowler. "Surreal" and "The Sun and The Sky" rapped up the singles for the phenomenal and personal album of "Equilibrium." The album had also seen a reflection back to basics which kick started PostOmnis.
NOT ANOTHER DOWNPOUR (2015)
I enlisted into the United States Navy in 2011, graduated and began A-School in San Antonio, Texas. The b-sides of the next PostOmnis album began. In the same year I had also made pivotal career choices which lead me to living in Pensacola, Florida and then immediately flown to Bahrain meeting with my first command. Later I would visit ports and become heavily influenced by Dubai-U.A.E., Crete-Greece, Marseille-France, and Angra do Heroismo-Portugual.
PostOmnis quickly became revived within the years with recruiting talents including: Lor Walendowski, Kevin (Guitar Guy), and Talios Wing. The album is described to be an album of healing and self reflection. After writing the "Equilibrium" album I didn't know what to do exactly for a new opus. How can an artists continue forward after writing a diary of music so personal? Out of the blue I'm writing music again. Passionately I began to find voices to carry the project more so than just having myself sing. Next I also began to incorporate live instruments including the Violin, Theremin, Oud, Kalimba, Lyra, Kinnor Harp, and Guitar.
CHARITABLE WORK
I've been passionate about two charities so far. The first being "Out of Darkness." A suicide prevention group linked with The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. I've partake in three walks, the first in Oklahoma and the latest being in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
I also linked up key songs from PostOmnis' past catalog donates 50% of sales to the Fender Music Foundation. Allowing children of all ages around America and the world to be able to afford music instruments.
Ante Bellum
Some of his early underground chart hits include: "Butterfly," "Impale," "Stolen Saints," and "Lost Artifact." Played regularly on sites such as Acidplanet.com.
